Requesting feedback on INI files:
If we make changes to our default printer, where is this stored? It does not appear to be saved in the task base printing. It would be beneficial if we could understand where it is being saved. It would make tracing much easier.

Hi Alyssa - the printer name and workstation is stored in the PRINTERS table. However, that row could be overwritten by the next person that logs into the workstation if things are not configured correctly. If you reach out to me I can walk you through everything there is to know about task based printing.

Yes, the task based printing is WORKSTATION defined, not user defined. This may be your problem. We have no fat clients, only terminal services and staff will move the TS session from thier office computer to the exam room computers. created a lot of havoc until will worked out a solution. If you are running into this let me know and I can tell you how we configured our sites.
