Chuggers,
We installed SP3 in our test envionment. The upgrade seemed to go well, until we tried to access the chart module. The chart module will flash "loading chart", but disappears. Nothing there. The chart module crashes....
This seems to only happen on upgrading W7 machines that had a previous version of CPS10 on it. The issue does not happen on XP clients.
W7 clients that never had CPS10 installed work fine.
Has anyone else seen this issue?
Thanks

After much testing. We have discovered Outlook 2007 is causing the chart module to crash when opening.
Remove Outlook 2007 everything works fine. We are able to reproduce the crashing on both fat clients, and VM's. It appears there is a bug in SP3 with Outlook 2007
We're now waiting to hear back from GE.
Uh oh! We were just discussing upgrading to SP3...
I sent this to my IT genius, he asked:
What service pack did you have on Office2007? Is your install Small Business or Professional?
Are your clients x64 or x86?
Is your demo environment a single server (w. JBoss installed) or a duplicate of your production environment )1x SQL, 1x Jboss)
Can you help?
Both 32 or 64 bit machines. the demo in enviornment is a cluster duplicating are Production envioenment.
I will have to ask my IT genius what SP Office is on. We're usually on the lastest and greatest. I will check.
We also learned running Outlook 2010 produces the same results. Chart moduel will not open.

RSBojalad,
Have you had any progress?
Our environment is on Office 2010 and we are considering CPS 10.1.3?
Thanks.
Ben
Yes. We figured it out.
GE had us turn on performance timers on our SQL boxes a few months ago to log performace.
Once, we disabled the timers everything worked fine.
