We upgraded from CPS 10 to CPS 11 this past weekend. We have had numerous issues that have popped up:
1- When ending a document, the check interactions box appears. You have to resolve the issue before the document can be signed. This box popped up before but it would happen on the medication template. Any ideas?
2- When right clicking on the desktop to append, etc. the system kicks you out.
3- Not being able to save column settings on the desktop (several MD's have complained about this)
4- Not being able to print from your desktop, throws out an error 'cannot print for multiple patients while a chart update is in progress" but there is not a chart update in progress.
Users are using OS Windows 7, IE 9

We just upgraded from CPS 10.3.1 to 11.1.1.138. Several users could not Right click anywhere in CPS until we went in and made some tuning changes to Dragon ver. DME2.
If this applies to your clinic and you are still seeing the issue let me know and I can email you the specific DME2 configuration changes.
Thanks,

Our VAR responded to the issues we are having & was informed these are known issues. We are now on a list for when GE releases an update for the fixes. (We were not having these issues with Dragon either)
Thanks!

The columns have been fixed in the new patch.
To fix drug intercations we had to change our settings to this:
I believe besides these issues, there are many providers also had a concern on searching for the problem in CPS 11, such as "history of...". Has anyone got any suggestion to searching for the problem?
Do you use custom lists? Or use "smart" list from GE?
We are already used the "Smartlist" as well as the existence "Custom List". However, there are diagnosis that no one found yet will not populate in the "Smart list" or diagnosis that is different than the one in the "Custom list".
We upgraded from to 11.1.2 on 4/4/2014. Yesterday after trying to set an enterprise level preference for Drug Interactions all of our users are now getting a pop up that they have to override the interaction. I have a ticket open with GE, but would like to hear others thoughts on this.
Thanks
Laurie
There is a check box for "Always apply prior override reason" is that checked?

Yes, all the boxes are checked and the thresholds are set at the highest levels. It's so frustrating to the Providers to have to do this for every patient.
I had an issue in 10.1.3 (we are now on 12.0) where it would popup even for our Medical Records staff when they were filling out an ROI, didnt have anything to do with Clinical lists let alone medications. They had to route every one of them to a clinical staff member to sign off. To be honest Im not sure if it is still an issue in 12 or not, we have had all kinds of new problems to worry about...

That's exactly what is happening. Ugh. We plan on going on 12 in June, can you list some of the issues you are having?
