We recently "upgraded" to CPS 12 and have been having severe crashing issues ever since. One of the most common ones is a "UIRefresh" error message that occurs in a phone note, vitals form, etc. Has anyone else experienced this and, if so, were you able to find a solution to the problem?

We are getting the same thing today (phone note)
Error occurred in class, method CChartSummaryTabView::onUIRefresh
We are opening a case with GE on this but no word yet

No solution - GE has it as a known issue.
There is a script that can be run and they need to remove the UI_LAYOUT TABLE per user affected. We tried having our hosting vendor create a daily job to automatically do this for the entire database, but have not been successful. This is something we got from GE. Check with them and your hosting should be able to fix this for you.

Do you happen to have a case number I can reference with my GE helper? He emailed about the case late last night so I am getting close to getting a call back! Woohoo

I do not have the original case for this as we were having this issue prior to upgrading to version 12. Just became more prevalent once we upgraded to version 12. But I would let them know the basics of what the script can do (note: this is per affected user, not database wide). I hope you get a resolution!

What is the point of this script if it hasn't been successful? We get these errors as well. GE deleted the WHOLE ui_layout table and it doesn't seem to help.

We have had success with a user by user scenario, but not a whole database script.

I seem to recall needing to do this in the CPS 10 days also. We had CPS 11 for a short while but I don't recall this problem during that era. Unfortunately I do not have those old scripts and still waiting for a call back. He is emailing and requesting a "date" for tomorrow to do a webex where I would expect him to just run this script

When you say "user by user scenario", is this a script that is run in the SQL Management Console on the server using the PVID of the user, or is this a script that is run on each client machine?
On the server

Yeah, we've tried that and it has had no effect. We have a SR with GE as well, just hoping someone on here may have found a work-around.
We have run the script on specific users using the PVID and some users will not have a crash for about a week at a time after the script is run BUT others it does not seem to help. We are in a Citrix environment, so we have also deleted their Citrix profiles but does not seem to matter for those that continue to have the crashes after the script is run. The SPR for this issue is #57640.
does anyone have the script, so i can run it a least for a few physician.
Thank you.
Just spoke with GE. They have a patch (4 files to replace on the client folder) to fix this issue. It's only released to a handful of test clients. I was wondering if any test clients here that can share their results. Thanks.
