Some of our providers are getting "Error 32785 Possibly too much data for field. Retry?" follow by "The fied has been changed by another user." error when doing orders but no one else is changing it. Once this happens it is in a never ending state even if you click "Yes" or "No" until you kill the session.
My practice is experiencing the same issue.
I had seem this issue replicate only when they are trying to place order from one specific Encounter Type. But when they try from other encounter type on the menu, this issue does not occur.
Strange because as long as you use the same encounter forms, then it shouldn't matter correct?
I submitted a SQL trace of the issue to GE.
waiting for a reply.
They asked to call tomorrow if i don't receive a call from GE early.
were you able to replicate the error on a consistence basis with the problem encounter type?
If you create another encounter type and put exactly the same form, does the error still occur?
with other encounter type does not occur.
It only happens with this specific one, seems to be with one specific provider, i haven't heard any complains from others providers of the same specialty, which use the same encounter type. Don't know if this other provider just don't care to post their issue.
David:
I'm sure you will but please post GE's response so we can all be in this boat together!
Thanks!
We are having the same issue. It started after we upgraded to 12. I opened a ticket with GE and they said there was an SPR for this issue. SPR CISDB00059398

I would be very interested to see that SQL trace. We haven't been so lucky as to actually capture it.
i would, but while the Trace section was short. The sql Trace is still 17MB long.
and once we entered the patient chart, there are about 11 page worth of query.
No update so far.
GE called to verify the Security rights of those physician and the encounter type they are using.
As i reported to GE this issue only happens when using one specific encounter type.
Rights were ok.
Still waiting
Was this issue ever resolved?
not yet, Ge got me bouncing over and over.
Has anyone had this issue resolved or know if the SPR is still open? One of our providers, who uses a scribe, seems to experience this error 5 - 10 times a day! We think it may be due to 2 users having the note open at the same time, which we certainly don't support. But, wanted to get a definitive answer for this provider.
