We just upgraded to CPS12 over the weekend and have discovered that the printer settings are not holding for all of our users. We contacted GE and was told this was a know issue with no resolution. Has anyone come up with a work around for this that I can give to my very frustrated providers?
Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.
It is my understanding that this was resolved in the latest service pack which I am told is SP3. Did you install this when you did your upgrade?
We are starting our patch installs tonight and hoping that our printer issues are corrected with this. Good Luck.
We are installing SP3 tonight. Will see if it holds

Please make sure to post your results! Until there is confirmation that this is finally fixed and that the chart module is stable and performing well we are holding at version 11.
The SP3 seems to have fixed the problem as our users have been able to save their printer settings as of this am.
Ours are still not holding and we are on 12.0.3
Printers are working fine now! Now if GE can fix all the other known issues with version 12, we would be great!
suefox51,
Make sure that in the EMR.INI the useclientname is set to True. This resolved the issue for us in version 10, and we have to set it every time there is an upgrade or patch.
Thanks - I'll give that a look and fix if necessary.
