Does anyone know how to give providers that ability to set a priority level for referrals? We've been able to set it up for test and service orders, but can't figure out how to enable it for referrals.
It does not work for referrals...I have checked with GE and that is what I was told. I did fill out an enhancement for this .
In the meantime in the Prompt: We have placed the following:
( ) STAT (24-48 hrs)
( ) ASAP (3-14 days)
( ) All Others (15+days)

That's helpful. What is the prompt though, and if you use it does it flag it at all for referral coordinators?
It will send the flag ... and from the flag you can see what was checked off:
The prompt is found in the Referral when created... So when you are are making a new referral by naming and placing the code. We placed this information in the section labeled Prompt.
I'm so sorry, but I'm still not totally following. We setup a Medicine-referral custom list, that then allows providers to select the specialty and fill in order details. We used to have a referral type that was urgent, but don't want to use that referral type. I'm not seeing where you place the code or the Prompt section in the order.
