We upgraded on the weekend of June 20th to SP8 and so far so good. It wasn't a huge impact as 12.0.4 was. So the product seems to be crashing a little less, but no huge improvement. I was very satisfied that we didn't get hammered on the next day of production. I doubt if anyone really noticed the difference, which is what we were gunning for.
In summary, it was a smooth upgrade with little to no negative impact.
