We have been experiencing patient profile photo showing up in the wrong chart after the upgrade to cps12. Any solution? Thanks.
it might be overlaying, this is usually a display driver issue. I had updated 5 systems video drivers which seemed to fix the problem.
Our staff takes the picture, everything looks fine but right after cropping the photo and attaching it, it changes to an old photo. It happens sporadically and right after our CPS 12 upgrade. We use remote-scan to capture the photo into our terminal server.
that is very weird, this would be the first I've heard of this. I have two offices that do the same type of scanning/photo using a webcam, through remote-scan. But that has not happened yet. I would probably try removing the old on before taking a new one. This way the code in the database goes away completely before inputting the new one.
these are patient's without any photo to begin with. It's happening to all two of our photo workstations. And coincidently right after the cps12 upgrade.

very interesting, i would looking into it a bit more on the database side, make sure they are not sharing, some home the same PID or PatientProfileId which would cause a mix up in the records. Those to should be unique, per the database function, but something to look at.
I don't think it's the database because if you don't save the registration after attaching the photo, it goes back to a blank photo.
is this happening on terminal/remote connections or FAT clients?
We use remote-scan so it's all thin client. I've seen it happened but i can't replicate it.
