Does anyone know if CPS 12.2 requires windows 10?

CPS version 12.2 is not out yet but will be soon, I heard that version requires Windows 10. I currently have CPS 12.0.11 and it stinks, looking forward to 12.2 but don't want to have to upgrade all our windows OS's.

I would be shocked if 12.2 required you to be on Windows 10. I have participated on the Limited Release team as recent as January of this year and I have heard no mention of the newer releases requiring you to upgrade your OS to Windows 10. I will reach out to one of my GE contacts and see what the deal is with version 12.2. Hopefully someone else will respond that's more in the know.

windows 10 has Edge browser. CPS 12.2 supports IE 11

Just received word from my contact at GE that CPS 12.2 does not require Windows 10. He added that he has personally seen it running on Windoes 7, I.E. 11.

I would love for to at least support windows 10. Starting to buy equipment with it and having to use extra term license for cps sucks.

I have heard 12.2 will support windows 10 but NOT Edge. will still need IE 11. This is great news as getting machines with Windows 7 will become very difficult soon.

I would expect that we will have support until at least 2020 when Windows 7 is EOL'd. We would need about a year to transition to Windows 10. We are still on Windows 7 due to GE and other vendors lack of support. I don't know if we will transition any time soon but I am looking forward to being able to put IE 11 on my machines (although GE isn't the only vendor behind the times there either)

Yes it will run on Windows 10 but doesn't require it. There was a change to the Citrix and Terminal Servers though. They no longer support 2008R2.

Why does it say IE 11*** and not just 11? I wonder what the caveat is
