Make sure the user you are logged in as has full admin.
If you copy the DLL to the C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files and run
"regsvr32 dllname.dll" What do you get.
Hey guys,
Basically what Im running into here is the add-on (GEMSInstaller 9.0 object) isnt wanting to install when I hit our CPS page.
This is on a brand new pc straight out of the box. I blocked all GPOs from applying to new pcs until I get them sorted in AD so I dont think anything is being pulled in from that. I even went so far as to dig down into the .war folder and try to register the dll manually to see if I could install the add on myself.
Ive already called in two tickets to support but got nowhere. The first time the tech just told me to nuke the pc and rebuild(also a new pc). It cleared up whatever problem was lingering around on it. I dont mind it once now and then, but back to back makes me think something else is up.
Any ideas?
Im currently logged in as the domain admin so the permissions should be fine.
Had an error message before with the dll register but I forgot that I had to run Command Prompt as Admin.
Its successful in the DLL register.
I am running into the same issue any ideas?
