Ewww. Cannot stand Windows 8...It will probably be a while till GE says we can run it on 8. Look how long it took them to give us the green light on IE9? Much less IE10!
CPS currently doesn't like Windows 8, the issue that I have ran into is that all the tables, such as the Flags table that shows From, To, Location…. and Documents and probably all others, are disabled (locked, grey'd out) so you cannot access the data in them. So to get this to work, you have to use Remote Desktop or RemoteApp or another remote application to gain access.
You've gotten further than me. I ran into 2 issues while trying to install CPS 9.5 on my trial of Windows 8. One involved dlls not being able to be registered, and the other involved the CPS install saying that I didn't have .net 2.0 installed.
