We are new to CPS 12 just last week and I wondered if anyone else has noticed this.
If I send a flag from the patient chart, ensuring it is attached to the patient chart when the user then attempts to open the flag it does not open the chart for them. I have tried sending flags from the patient chart summary screen, documents screen and orders screen. I see the flag on the users desktop attached to the chart but still the chart does not open when the flag is opened. I compared to an 11 database and this does work in 11.
Has anyone else seen this?
Thanks!
This has been ongoing since CPS 12 started. We are up to 12.0.6.1471 and it is still happening. We have found that if you double-click and the flag opens but not the chart behind it, simply close the Flag box and click the Chart icon from the Menu (left, lower screen). It has been reported (and I believe is fixed in SP 7-We are waiting to upgrade to SP 7 soon). The SPR is CISDB00058153
Chart is open but you will not see it until you click on Chart.
Thank you for that trick on using the Chart button, that seems to be a great work around.
Also, we are on 12.0.7.1559 and it is not fixed there.
thanks!!
We are on version 7LA and it is still a problem......
Bumping this topic. Is there any news of this being fixed? Many of our physicians are becoming increasingly agitated that this has not been resolved yet. We are on CPS 12.0.11 and are still having the issue of either the flag not bringing the user into the chart [and they have to click Chart or look at recent patients to enter the chart] or when you are brought into the patient's chart, you get a pop-up asking you to close the View Alerts/Flag window. Then the provider has to click out of the pop-up, then the flag window to finally get to the patient's chart.
Any news is appreciated!
Thanks!
