Hello,
We're testing the use of the Set Up Links and Set Up Commands feature in CPS12. When we went live in April, we turned off security & didn't want to bother with it at the time. Now that we have some time, we're trying to figure out if it's beneficial to use.
Has anyone used these features? Are they helpful? Do they cause any additional performance issues that you've noticed within CPS12?

We have set up commands in the Task Management window to the various carrier websites that the staff would use when working outstanding tickets. We also added a command in the Chart module for Encoder Pro since we have had problems with searching for problems. Haven't noticed any performance issues because of these.
This may be a stupid question - but what is the difference between the links and the commands. We have links set up, but I have never used the custom commands
The only thing I am noticing is that Links I can group and commands are individual items. There's not alot of information in the GE notes.
Another difference is that Links open within the active Centricity window and Commands launch an application outside of Centricity.
