CPS12.3.3 came out not too long ago and was wondering if anyone is planning to upgrade anytime soon? Also if anyone has heard of any pros and cons about the new version?
We are interested in this as well! Especially with the PM issues in previous versions
12.3.3 is not available because of billing issues in 12.3.2. It is reported on the Virence site that it will be generally available the middle of June. We have been waiting to upgrade since the first of the year.
Athena/Virence/GE sent out communication on Wednesday (6/12/19) afternoon about the GA release of SP3 - see below. Just in case you don't have an account I attached the Release Notes. Interesting stuff 🙂
We are pleased to inform you that CPS 12.3 SP 3 Now Available Centricity Practice Solution is pleased to announce the release of CPS 12.3 Service Pack 3 now available on the CPS Product Downloads page All of the included fixes and known issues can be found in the CPS 12.3.3 Release Notes.

Yes, we plan to upgrade within a month for both our CPS PM database and CPS EMR database (yes 2 separate databases). We upgraded our non production systems last weekend without issue so far. No one has yet been in testing to see find any issues yet.
Pros:
Reverted Billing module code back to stable (non memory leaking)
Hopefully resolved Rx Renewal workflow with instructions disappearing back to the pharmacy
Cons:
Doesn't something always breaks in a new service pack.?. Yet to be discovered. 🙂
We are on 2 separate CPS databases (PM and EMR) and in the process of merging the EMR into the PM. We were hoping SP3 came out before the big migration to prevent our billers from crashing due to the memory leaks.
