Maybe it's just me, but it seems like at this point GE would be better off issuing a set of Crystal Reports that works with 12 and just letting people use that to attest and try for CQR next year. Certainly that would be an easier task to accomplish than all of the backend work going on with the CQR site added to all of the QIE interfaces that need to be installed and configured, and all of the training that needs to happen.
We're sort of in this stage right now where we don't know where the problem is – in what we are capturing, in how its mapped, in the transmission process, in the ingest process on GE's side, or just a display issue on the website. Trying to troubleshoot anything is obnoxious since there isn't much transparency into what is going on at their end and you have to wait 24 hours to see if you get the results you were hoping for. If I heard from even one or two customers that everything is working 100%, I'd feel better that at least the website and probably the ingestion process works. I don't even know if that's the case right now.
Anyone interested in pooling some money together to hire someone to create a dozen or so crystal reports we all can use? 🙂
I would LOVE to hear of any GE CPS 12 users who have attested for stage 2 this year(and how they did it)!
At this point, I just want to know how our providers are doing on the measures!?!? How can you possibly make workflow changes or troubleshoot obs terms if you are blind to the data????!!!!!????
I am beyond frustrated....
Although we are not on CPS, we are also very frustrated!
We don't have access to CQR at all yet - I'm told there is some issue with the GE database that we're on (it's a large list of clients who don't have access).
I can't believe we're this far into the year and we still can't run reports to verify that what we're doing counts for MU and/or help educate staff and providers to ensure we're on the right path!
I agree that GE (not us) should be supplying crystal reports right now to run and use to see where we're at and plug holes if necessary to meet MU and be ready to attest.
We are on Centricity EMR v9.8.3

Are there any GE Centricity customers that have attested for Stage 2? Given the state we are all in I don't see how it would be possible.
The CQR problems continue, we have been having weekly calls with GE about the CQR at Monday's call they requested an additional meeting for yesterday, Wednesday August 20th and NOBODY from GE was on the call! Great customer service and support. The lack of communication about the CQR to all customers has been beyond bad. So much for Jon Zimmerman and more transparency.
Side note: I am unable to calculate any data since 8/16/14. The month of August and Q3 reports only pull "No Results Available".
Just got another notification about CQR downtime this weekend. It's been pretty much a weekly thing for quite some time.
Did you see this time will be up to 10 days of downtime?
"During the downtime, your data for reporting will be saved and new data generated in the EMR will be delivered once the connections are reestablished. Once the downtime
is complete, we will notify you when you can turn your connections back on; we
expect the total downtime not to exceed 10 days."
LOL - no I didn't even notice that but you are correct! What a joke.
Up to 10 days of downtime and GE has been telling us for 2 months that it's working fine???????? Something does not add up here.
I've been bouncing between my Project Manager for CQR and GE support. They keep redirecting me back and forth saying they are supposed to handle my issues.
We got CQR installed 2 weeks ago, and we can't even finish the "Are you ready" document. Now, we have 10 days of downtime starting tomorrow. Man, we just need to create some crystal reports and move on.
CPS will not allow me to disable the subscriptions for CQR in ADMIN even though I have admin rights. (admin>system>Interoperability>configuration>Highlight option>click disable)
Any idea where I need to go in security to fix this?
The only permission that seems related is:
Main Menu>Common Event Model>Subscriptions Modification
Check to see if you have that permission set on your account.
Luckily the final CMS rule released, and we can atleast attest for stage 1 2014 objectives. I'm in the process of re-installing our MU crystal reports now. This has been quite a trip.
Mike- let me know if crystal reports work so I can call our VAR to get them reinstalled 🙂
