They seem to work just fine. They added a core measure to the 2014 stage 1 objectives that isn't in these crystal reports, so we are still going to have to rely on the portal.
They added this measure which is similar to one of the core measures in stage 2, but has a four day window instead of one.
After further review of the crystal reports, a lot of the ones that deal with clinical lists don't work anymore. But most of those are things our clinics do really well in anyway.
Yes, I have the same issue of them not working. I did receive a notification from our VAR about GE working on new Crystal Reports to use:
"One thing we were informed of from GE is that their development team is in the process of revamping the MU crystal reports for customer to use for attestation. Unfortunately, they have not given us an ETA on when this will be completed yet."
That's the first I've heard about GE recreating the crystal reports. They were very adamant about not spending development time on crystal reports for MU when asked during the CQR webinars. They acted like it would be a very big undertaking.
I'm able to log in to the CQR portal now. Is anyone else able to? I didn't receive any kind of notification that it was back up, so I'm not sure if it is okay to actually start the Qvera channels up yet. The Calculate button is grayed out, though.
I logged on too but everything the reports are blank and the calculate button is grayed out for me too. They probably are waiting until after the update on Thursday.

They may be trying to bring up the sites slowly instead of opening the flood gates all at once
We upgraded to CPS 12 in April/May and we are now looking at rolling out CQR. I have read alot a negative pub on getting CQR up an running but they are older post and wanted to see if there was any new "positive" feelings towards CQR or if we should just save the implemenation costs of CQR and put it towards recouping the penalty for non compliance.
Any news on CQR yet? There is not any notifications to say it is back up today on GE's portal. Another day without the data....
Still not able to click "Calculate Now", and we haven't started our Qvera channel since they went down. I wish they would publish something to let us know when it's expected to be up again.
On last Thursday's "State of the Union" webinar, GE noted that they will be refreshing users on CQR again shortly (this week?), with a focus first on those providers who are Stage1>Year1 that need to attest October 1.
They stated that about 15 customers now have the "new" CQR backend (with actual results!?!). The University of Nevada Medical School was quoted.
RE: jmchargue's comment: no positive feelings until you see it and believe it.
NEW crystal reports available:
MU Reporting for 2013 v1.10.1 (Retrospective
reports compatible with CEMR 9.8) Now Available
Dear
Centricity™ EMR Customer,
Under the new flexibility rule finalized by CMS on August 29, 2014, some
Eligible Professionals (EPs) may qualify to satisfy the 2014 Meaningful Use
requirements by reporting against CMS 2013 (Stage 1) Functional and Quality
Measures, even if they have upgraded to Centricity EMR (CEMR) 9.8 and were
scheduled for Stage 1 or Stage 2 this year. To help guide you through the
rule’s participation options, we have posted these slides from our recent webinar (updated September 12) and a new interactive decision tool on this topic to the Service Portal.
In response to the final rule, we have released a new version of Crystal
Reports (1.10.1) that is compatible with CEMR 9.8 or higher. The reports in
this release enable qualifying EPs to report on data that was collected prior to upgrade, using a 2011 edition certified EHR
technology release (Centricity EMR v9.5, v9.6). These reports can be downloaded
from the Customer Service Portal: https://engage.gehealthcare.com/community/en/emr/mu
Again, these
reports will look back at data prior to your upgrade to assist in understanding
your MU results. We hope you find these reports and educational resources
valuable as you prepare for attestation.
We have upgraded to CPS 12 and installed CQR. But we are unable to add new users. (Along with a host of other issues) Just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue?
Thanks,
Alanna
I was finally able to click the calculate button! That is the only good part.....
This is what the Core measures says for two providers: "31, 24 required", the other 6 providers say: "18, 24 required". They are all Stage 2. There are 17 CORE Measures for Stage 2(correct?), so I don't know why the numbers are different?
Are there locations where the reports are actually accurate????
Check in the set up area and click what measures you want to report on. Several measures have multiple parts and I think they count each part as a measure. The vital sign measure has 3 options.
Side note we are up and running on the new CQR, I do think it is better than before but still not perfect. We are having a lot of problems with the patient portal measures. We use the Kryptiq portal and it will not give us credit for a patient that signed up for the portal previous to the reporting period. GE has given us a script to try and solve this issue but it is not working. If anyone else is having this issue and has a solution, please let me know.
