So, we are wondering if it makes sense to install Crystal Reports MU reports on our Production side. We had no issues with it in test, but wondering if it will impact CQR in any way. Of course, with CQR not working properly, and the patch not working properly, we would like to go the "alternative" route and use the Crystal Reports since we are on Stage 1 Year 1.
Any thoughts??
We have them installed and have had no issues what so ever.
Suefox51.
one should not interfere with the other.
they are basically pulling the same type of data.
CQR export the data per trigger in XML format while Crystal Report pull the data directly from the DB an format it display base on the Report arrangement.
To let you know, that we are also having issues with the RPT files for MU. the data pulled doesn't match what we are supposed to have.
i used the Crystal report outside of the CPS client, I find they run way faster this way.
Thanks for the responses --
Sue
We have just started running some of the new reports (reports for EMR 9.8) with no issues. Although, unlike David B, not able to run the Crystal Reports freestanding yet.
(We have had issues where as the reports are begun, the choices for LOC seem to be listing TEST datavalues, and not from the production system.)
Joeg, you got it to work outside of EMR?
