What is everyone doing the new CSM requirement (pursuant to MPFS CY 2017) requiring OPs in ambulatory to consult qualified clinical decision support mechanism (CDSM) for advanced imaging orders that contain approved AUC for imaging studies? Cerner is using the National Decision Support Company. Anyone know what tools Centricity will be making available, if any? or what you are using?
The National Decision Support Company is a preferred CDSM vendor for Cerner that fully integrates into Cerner and other EMR platforms and can function as a stand alone platform.

I posted this question as well a couple weeks back.
I opened a case with GE and still have not heard back. My ticket states that Ray Bender and Geoff Lay have been sent my question for follow up.
I'd love to hear what you get back for a response if you are willing to email me - [email protected]
I have a meeting in a week and am supposed to report back, but am very unlikely to hear back by then considering GE support called me two days ago on a ticket I opened in 2015! 🙂
If you are willing, I would appreciate it!!
Would be interested to hear what GE has to say about this as well.....

It is now October 2019!
Did anything happen in 2018????
Apparently, the mandate is now to begin reporting on 1/1/20 and on 1/1/21 CMS will begin to deny claims unless each advanced imaging order comes with a DSN serial code (proving that decision support was utilized) and the accompanying 1-10 score (10 being best).
I am very surprised there are no forums in this regard here?
EPIC is using CareSelect integrated into it.
HELP! 🙂
