We have the annoying situation where text typed into our VFE forms is missing when the document is routed to another person. I will try to explain:
Person 1 enters text into several places of a VFE Encounter Form.
Person 1 puts the note on hold and routes it to Person 2 to review and possibly add some information.
Person 2 double clicks the form from their desktop to open it. Upon opening the form all the places where person 1 entered text is grayed out and blank.
Person 2 puts the note back on Hold and then re-opens it back up and all the missing data is now there.
Anyone else see this? Any fixes other than putting on hold and reopening?
Thanks,
Mike
Are you using CPS or EMR? If CPS, what version including any patches? Also, what version of VFE are you using? If I am remembering correctly, I believe we had this issue a short while back and I'm thinking it resolved itself when we upgraded one of the two to a newer version, possibly just installing a patch.
Known, very annoying issue. Need either patches for 12.0.11, update to CPS 12.0.12.
I spent weeks trying to explain to GE that this was a bug and not a workflow issue. This is indeed fixed with CPS 12.0.12.
We have the same problem, only in a CQIC CCC form. Vital Signs are disappearing. There is another chain going about this, and there is an SR that was supposed to have actually defined a workflow to recreate the problem. When a coworker and I tried it in our environment, we could not make the vital signs disappear. We are on CPS 11.
We installed patch 6a to our CPS 12.0.11. The problem seems better, but hard to tell (because have never been able to recreate it at will even when more of a problem). Anyone see improvement with 12.0.12?
We are on CPS 11 and don't intend to go to CPS 12, so at this point we're trying to help our users establish workflows that don't trigger the problem. Sadly, they've grown accustomed to having to modify their work to address bugs in the program.
