We have a provider who is a DO, her account in Centricity is DO, but in the messaging inbox when you go look for her it is showing as MD. How do i change the list name there?

I think our messaging is tied into Active directory. If that is the case with you, I would have your IT department check her active directory settings to make sure it does not show MD.
If you are not active directory integrated, logged in as an Admin, Click on the messaging tab and go to Admin -> Users -> Edit Users and type in their email address.
