We are a multi-specialty with approximately 500+ users and we are in the process of formulating Super Users. Can anyone give me any insight on how many Super Users you have and how large your practice is? Furthermore, do your Super Users train staff?
Hi there! I am a Systems Trainer and Super User for my company out of CT. We are a multispecialty practice consisting of Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurologists, Pain Specialists, Chiropractic Care, Physical Therapy, and Emergency Ortho Medicine. Our support staff is just under 300 users. We crossed over / upgraded from GPMS to CPS 11 on 6/9/2014. [currently on CPS12] At that time we had a group of 16 assigned CPS Super Users that went for approx. 34 hours of one on one training with a GE Specialist before our GO Live date. We then scheduled mandatory End User training for the week prior to our go live date. The End User training was organized by 6 out of our 26 Super Users, who also trained the End Users. This group was also responsible for revamping the GE CPS Manual to better relate it to our practice and current workflows. In addition to a CPS Super User group, our practice organized a separate CPS Project team consisting of 10 CPS Super Users. This team of individuals belong to different departments, functions and are assigned to activities for various projects. They meet on a bimonthly basis for updates, and discussions. Hope this was helpful!
Thank you lyocher. It was very helpful. Currently we have 60 end staff users that want to be Super Users. So we were thinking of putting them into 4 teams of 15. Our staff end users are Managers, Supervisors, Insurance/Billing, Reception and Operations.
Hi there. I saw your post about crossing over from GPMS. I am hoping you can help.
Do you know how to run an ATB (Aged Trial Balance) in the GPMS system (IDX Group Management/Centricity Group Management)
What I am looking for is comparable to
GE Centricity Business
Aged Trial Balance Summary (F10/A10/A3)
Aged Trial Balance - All FSCs (F10/A10/A21)
Aged Trial Balance – Single FSC (F10/A10/A20)
Any info or connections you could provide would be helpful.
Thanks!
