Hello,
I was hoping to get some possible vendors that will be able to create two channels within Mirth. We do not need any data manipuliation with sending/listening channel.
Here is the work that we will need to create
Channel 1 (sending orders via HL7): CPS>>>Mirth>>> Iguana
Channel 2 (receiving URL file): Iguana>>>Mirth>>>CPS
Thank You,
Mario
Hi Mario.
We've done a lot of interfaces with Mirth, including very similar to what you are describing.
The reason we run them through Mirth is because CPS is very finicky with HL7. Mirth allows us to easily modify content. Even if you don't think you'll need to manipulate data in Mirth, it can be easier to manage in Mirth rather than MIK translation tables or DTS cross reference files.
If you don't actually have to modify any data at all in Mirth, searching for and resending HL7 messages when troubleshooting easily makes Mirth worthwhile on its own.
That said, I'd be happy to discuss your project off-list. You should have my contact details, but if you've lost that post-it note already, feel free to contact me at dave (at) acetechcs.com.
Thanks
Dave
I have setup multiple interfaces with Mirth and would be happy to assist you with this project. You can contact me at: ryan at ryadical.com or call me to discuss: 239-410-1028
