Has anyone encountered any issues with running a crystal reports forms on a secondary monitor?
We have no problems running it on the primary, but as soon as you try to move it to the secondary monitor the forms go completely blank. If you move the window back to the primary and refresh it, everything works fine.
Not that this should matter, but I use the EMR version of GE.
I build and run Crystal Reports from either of my screens. I do know that there are 'issues' with the VFE (Visual Form Editor) on the 2nd screen. Both of my screens are set as landscape orientation, have slightly different resolution settings, and are set 'extend these displays'.

How is the 2nd monitor connected?
Is it a separate video card or is it connected using a USB2VGA/DVI,HDMI, etc?
that's "a thing" per GE. We have that problem as well. We have thin clients running dual monitors. Both monitors running off the same DVI input using a splitter, one of which using VGA and the other DVI. It runs fine on the primary monitor but not the secondary monitor, however, if you open it on the primary and then drag it over to the secondary then you can run it on the secondary, but it will open blank if you open it on the secondary monitor first. Its also been brought up on the CHUG listserv.
We are on CPS 12.0.7 we reported it when we first went to CPS 12. We noticed it when running GE business reports and there is a SPR 17229. If it pops to secondary screen the data wont display, but you can open it in the primary screen and drag to the secondary screen as noted above. I have not had any issue running the report once I can see the criteria.
I have noted similar with CPS and other applications doing the same thing. Are you using the latest drivers for you video card?
We have similar issue with user on a THIN pc with dual monitors. Not reports though - when she opens up registration/payments/visit it opens on left, she then closes it and tries to open another and opens on right. Its slowing her down. Any suggestions. We had an issue about 3 yrs ago and were told that GE doesn't support dual monitors.
