We have users that occasionally turn on the Database, SQL, or MEL tracing by accident. Obviously, this can cause a lot of interaction between the Centricity session and the log files that it is writing to, which in turn can cause slowness for the user.
I know this writes out to the log files in the user's profile, but does anyone know if this by chance also log anything in the database to indicate that it has been turned on for the user. We would like a way to be able to determine, on the fly, who currently has any of this logging turned on without having to search through everyone's log files to see if they are currently updating. Ultimately, we'd like to be able to turn this off remotely if someone has turned it on accidentally.
