We have a small number of providers who have a debug.log that appears in their user profile. GE states that this is showing up because some provider have "0xFFFFFFFF" in their Support Flag under the Centricity Help->About. I'm pretty sure that our providers are not putting this value in their Support Flag field, so does anyone have any ideas what is happening here?
I'm an EMR customer and we have users who get tracing turned on for no apparent reason. All our users are running off the same Citrix image but it doesn't happen to anyone and the keyboard shortcut is unique enough I doubt it happens by accident.. Don't know if that is related to your CPS issue.
FYI I have inadvertently turned on MEL tracing several times because the shortcut is CNTL+ALT+M, which is pretty similar (when you're rushing) to CNTL+SHIFT+M (to pull up Update Medications window).
Unfortunately tracing is not the same thing as debugging and GE claims that there is no Hot-Key combination to turn on debugging like there is for MEL Tracing, SQL Tracing, or DB Tracing. GE also states that debugging does not turn off when a person logs out of Centricity or even out of their computer, that once it is turned on that it stays on until it is turned off.
