We are having an issue where we have a service order category and in setup we have not required a diagnosis, yet it is still asking for one.
Has anyone else run into this? We are currently on CPS 12.2.2.4212. We have started a ticket with GE.
These settings are set in at least 3 separate places, maybe more.
The code itself has a setting as does the "Category" at the top. If you go under order defaults the Location also has a setting that can require diagnosis.
Thank you so much! I actually knew that but sometimes if you don't touch something and you get bogged down, you tend to forget that "the devil is in the details." Again, thanks!
So the Order Defaults by Categories are all set up for a diagnosis to be required for Service Orders. However, at the Codes and Categories for Services for this particular Service, the diagnosis is not required, so it appears to be set up properly.
However, users are still being prompted to require a diagnosis and since these are SNOMED-CT codes, they are only required for reporting and do not cross to billing. This is for CQR, as you know.
Still at a loss unless perhaps it is a permissions issue. Thanks!
