This scenerio assumes that the physician is not coding their own notes but has a certified coder performing the work.

Does anyone have a clever way to report when the dictation hits the chart, how long it then takes to be coded and then approved/batched and sent to the clearinghouse.

I am trying to record some internal metrics for filing of claims and am looking for suggestions on how to report on this workflow.

Any suggestions appreciated.
