Is anyone running Dragon Enterprise Network Edition in a Citrix enviroment? If so did you use a previous version of Dragon? Was accuracy and functionality improved?
Thanks in advance for any input.
Just had the Dragon Account Manager in this week to discuss Enterprise version features.
Looks good for a bigger Dragon counts (hundreds and thousands); I'm not sold yet on its value for a small Dragon install base like ours (<50).
You install a SQLServer database centrally. That doesn't, however change the need to install Dragon locally onto the PCs, although it improves the installation, license-maintenance and update processes. Once of the 'accuracy' sales point was the ability to centrally schedule the 'optimation' settings and vocabulary updates.
Managing the local installs was one our original reasons for considering Enterprise. Nuance didn't recommended running the software on Citrix given the bandwith and only about Dragon 2-3 users per server.
You pay 'migration' fees for each existing license you move to central managment plus the cost for new version licenses plus annual maintenance. Network version is currenly only for 10.x although Version12 is in beta now. They've got some nice price-breaks for non-MD/DO providers in comparison to doctors.
