I know there is an SPR for this issue, where the September Full Knowledge base Update fails to install and as a result, our CPS system NO LONGER has the drug interaction button working.
GE Support had 2 options for us:
1. Wait for a Service Pack to fix this issue
2. Change SQL isntallation from an "Instance" to a "standard" setup.
My questions are:
1. Is any other site having the same issues as us? If so, how are you dealing with the "work around"?
We had an issue with the drug interaction box popping up and not allowing MDs to sign their office visit. The workaround is to remove the allergy, sign the note, then do a clinical list update and add the allergy back in.
I dont know if this is the same issue that you are describing.

I noticed this too while testing in EMR 9.8. I don't think we can wait for a Service Pack to fix this issue being that for us MU Stage 2 starts January 1 and I doubt it would be released before then.
Lets hope it is fixed in the next Full Knowledge Base Update? I am grasping I know but I just wasn't counting on this problem as well as the others we are finding.
