Well, a little more than a week into having sp3 in production and it's working pretty well. The crashes are significantly reduced and the comments from our clinics are that the product is faster.
We did notice a skinning problem with the EMR, if you use it with a standalone PM. EMR must be installed first, then PM. GE is aware of the problem and working on it.

We were on EMR 9.5.2 and were one of the sites having lots of problems with the "Encountered an improper argument" crashes. We installed SP3 two days ago and have not had any crashes since. Just wanted to pass this information on for anyone who was hesitant about installing SP3.

Have you noticed if there are any issues with SP3 - any new issues that you didn't experience before? Has SP3 resolved all issues you had with SP2?

We have not had any new issues with SP3.
Yes, it has resolved the issues we had with SP2.

Angel, did you have an slowness before doing SP3? If so, did SP improve speed?

No, we did not experience any slowness before SP3.

We had lots of slowness with sp2 at specific times of the day, morning, mid-day, and late afternoon. It all went away with sp3.

For those who installed SP3: Are things still going well for you? We're scheduled to install the patch Sept 21st. Just want to make sure they're aren't any surprises...

We installed SP 3 on August 9 and the crashes we had prior to this have gone away completely. We are still seeing occasional crashes in other areas of the EMR but they are minimal. Overall, this has gone very smooth.

The posts are very encouraging to proceed with upgrading Centricity to SP3. However would there be anyone willing to share his/her lesson learned during and after the upgrade. Are things still going well for everyone upgraded to SP3?

We too have been holding off on the SP3 install. Waiting to hear the good, the bad and the ugly about this service pack. Anything we need to brace ourselves for? Is anyone out there experiencing any issues post the SP3 install?

We have been running SP3 since 08/18/2012 and have seen a dramatic decrease in crashes. We have also seen noticable improvements in performance. the migration itself was a simple upgrade just like any other push.
I cannot recommend it enough. it has made a great deal of difference in our productivity.

We are planning to go from EMR 9.5.1 and go directly to 9.5.3. This forum has been quiet for a while. What has been the experience moving from SP1 to SP3? So far in TEST the application seems a bit faster and we have yet to experience a crash. (limited use though) Thank you in advance for sharing your experience.

Just dont panic when you run the script to install the service pack on the server. It takes considerably longer to apply it going from sp1 to sp3 rather than sp2 to sp3. It eventually starts moving along.
