Our clinic went live with EMRCPS10 last week and we are experiencing a problem with charges coming across from EMR to PM in a new ticket line instead of the appointment ticket line. We are associating the visit with the appointment and still the services are not posting on the appointment ticket. Has anyone experienced this issue? Can someone suggest on how to fix this issue. My email is [email protected]
Thanks in advance,
Jose
We have been experiencing the same issue since SP3 upgrade to CPS10. It only seems to happen to us when the patient is on the "nurse" schedule for a nursing visit. The charges come over on a ticket without a ticket number (showing the resource as nurse) and the ticket line comes over with no charges associated and showes the provider as the resource.
See if the last post in this thread is helpful. I think it helped point me in the right direction and solve our issues with duplicate tickets. We had the "Category" on our "Completed" Appointment Status set to "None," rather than "Checked Out and we were seeing duplicate tickets.

The only "negative" side affect of changing it to checked out is that when the visits are billed, they turn back to white on the schedule. For most, I don't think this is a problem, but our users were wondering why past appointments on the schedule were no longer "checked in" and colored blue.

Matt,
We have the category set to Checked out for the "Completed" status (we are on 10.0.2) and we do not have a "checked out" status at all. We go straight from Arrived (when patient arrives to clinic) to Completed (when patient leaves). Billing status (New to In Progress) may not be touched for a day or so.
Was this issue inherited from 10.1.2 or more current version? Would you say that duplicate tickets as described is a non-issue for you as it was wholly related to incorrect set up of the "Complete" status? I am a bit puzzled by the work around posted on July 25th by mj2718 referenced in the link you supplied. Did you add another appointment status of "checked out"/"none" as mentioned by this poster?
We are trying to determine what problems we may encounter as we "upgrade" beyond 10.0.2.
