On a day-to-day basis, are any folks using the web/phone view version of EMR/CPS that first came out way back before MU (EMR 9.2)?
In the web-version, you always could customize your Summary tab view and see Chart elements. In the phone version you can only view Clinical List items (ex: Probs, Meds...). In both, you can send Flags, but not make any other changes.
Originally, we never found a good use-case for the app but the question has arisen again as a counterpoint to full system remote-access via Citrix.
- In what workflows?
- Inside network or outside firewall?

For us it is a possible fallback if there is a Citrix failure. If you gave access to users from outside your network, I would put a web server in front of it in a DMZ. Its use case is quick access to reference info where Citrix isn't an option.
