We are getting an error, stating parameter is invalid, within an encounter, however, not sure what it is referring to. This is a new issue post 9.8 upgrade. We ran a trace, and found this :
ERROR: 32786 COULDN'T FIND THE SYMBOL: DOCUMENT._ML_ERX_REVIEW_RX
Has anyone ever seen this, or have any information as to what or where it is ? Thanks.

We had a couple issues post 9.8 upgrade that may be related... I would check 2 things:
Did you have 2 separate providers within the same document sign an electronic prescription? If so, the fix is to run a script that GE will give you.
If that wasn't it- check to see if there is a Rx in the note that isn't signed. If so, try to sign off on it within the note (in the medication module or the refill form), as sometimes it seems to get hung up when signing the whole note.
We have this happened when a user enters in an RX with a method of historical but enters in a quantity and refills. The system thinks you want to prescribe a med but it does not like the method selected. If it is a true historical med then remove the quantity and refills. If not then they need to select the correct prescribing method.
We are on 9.8. This usually is related to how the medications. Usually one of 2 issues.
1. When prescibing a new medication Centricity can not distinguish how it is supplied it comes out as Undefined. You can see this on the white board. They would have to go back to change the medication and select either tablets, milligrams, etc.
2. We have issue where providers when faxing or printing prescriptions they will put 1 box in the quanitity field then save that on their custom list. The next time they prescribe that med if they send electronically it will give the invalid parameter and they will have to take the box out of the quanity field.
Hope this helps.
