I am working with my medical record team to streamline their faxing. Their complaint about the faxing is that when they fax multiple documents a cover sheet goes with each document.
I have created a letter for them to use as a cover sheet and have been testing by selecting the letter first, then the other documents to fax. Then when using biscom I am choosing no cover page.
The challenge is that I want the cover sheet letter to always go first but it does not, sometimes it ends up in the middle of the documents being faxed.
I am curious how other users have solved the faxing and if there is a way to get around the multiple cover pages when faxing multiple documents.
We are on CPS 11 latest version.
Thanks
We installed Summit's Docubatch to assist with this issue. The software combines all pages into 1 fax with 1 cover page. It has been a LIFE SAVER and has also saved us money. The team is great to work with and has really helped us modify the product to our needs.
For our Medical Records department we have them using Paperport 12. They "print" anything out of the EMR they need to PDF and those go into Paperport. Then they stack all of the documents into one PDF and fax it out using Biscom. It puts all of the pages in order and then just adds one cover sheet to the beginning of the fax.
Hi there,
I was wondering if there is a way to get some information on how the whole Faxing was integrated with Centricity?
Who did it? Paperport 12? Biscoms?
We currently use ancient way of faxing and it would be better to upgrade the old workflow.
Thank you
