Hello,
Has anyone upgraded to SP3. We are specifically looking for customers on CEMR v9.12.3 (not CPS). We are wondering how the upgrade went, the aftermath, etc. Any feedback would be very much appreciated.

We recently updated from sp1 to sp3 and had no issues with update itself. Issues we are having is from having to update esm and while it fixed several 700 errors, it caused another that won't be resolved until v19. People are also trying to figure out the new cancelled flags. Other issue is not being able to fully convert to 2.1 in SMPP but the emr update itself was fine.

What was the other issue that was caused that won’t be fixed until v19? We are also preparing to upgrade.

The issue is in esm and is 700 prescriber last name different. Technically this showed up prior to sp3 IF you updated to esm 4.3.3 and do controlled substances but 4.3.3 wasn't required until sp3 so we held off until then. It is such a significant volume of errors that we had to implement workflow of telling providers to deny all refill requests for controlled substances and do new which is crazy but only option. We needed sp3 to try and attest for MU/Mips.
