For the Janssen EULA handout, I am trying to insert a Jpg of the Q code symbol, but get the following Error Message
Huffman symbol not found in JPEG read - JpgGetHmSymbol
Where is the location of the JPEG Read and how do I would I place the Jpeg file there so the function JpgGetHmSymbol can retrieve the symbol for the handout.
Is this possible to accomplish
Appreciate any help or suggestions, Thanks
While I have not pasted a Q-code into a document, I often do a screen grab (typically edited and cropped) and paste it into a handout document.
For instance, to facilitate certain common foreign language documents, I screen-grab the foreign language text and paste into the handout. Thus I can have buttons to print something in English (standard text inside handout) and in Chinese (the screen grab of the validated foreign language text).
Thus, wondering if you could take the same approach.
Try creating the handout in WordPad and paste the .jpg into the WordPad document then copy and paste everything into your handout. https://forum.centricityusers.com/forum/adding-logo/
Thank you for your suggestion, David,
When the Q-Code Jpg image was copied/pasted into the Word Rtf file, it will not show in the CPS handout printout.
However, as per your excellent suggestion to paste the Q-code Jpg after the rtf file has been opened in WordPad did the trick and successfully shows in the CPS handout printout.
I assume there was some extra Word RTF code that caused the error, which either gets stripped out or is not added to the image when the JPG image is directly pasted into the WordPad Rtf file. Thank you
Yes, you have to use WordPad and not Word to do RTF. It's been a lot of versions of Word since you could copy and paste from it to Centricity 🙂
