With the expiration of 233 codes effective 9/30/2016 has anyone come up with a workflow for physicians to know that the code they currently are using is one of the expired codes?
We thought that having the warnings restored for the provider workstations would be a way that at least as the provider attempted to use the expired code attached to a service charge they would get the pop up box stating the code they are using is inactive but every provider that I know has checked the box so they don't get this pop up warning. We would like to reset the warning boxes every Friday afternoon so that the providers see that pop up box.
