Hello!
We are upgrading to 12.3.2 in about 1 month. We are having internal discussions regarding IE version and whether we can do anything prior to our upgrade weekend. We have heard mixed information on this topic--some saying it will work in compatibility mode etc... Would like to hear other's thoughts or experiences on this topic.
Our issue: Currently on IE 10 with 12.0.12 as GE only supports IE 10 and not IE 11 yet. Per GE, upgrading to IE 11 would cause issues with dosing calculators and growth charts; is also supported.
We have heard that we face the same issue if we stay on IE 10 after our upgrade to 12.3.2--growth charts and dosing calculator issues.
Thank you in advance!!
We're not having any trouble at all with IE 11 on 12.3.2, why would you stay on IE 10?
Steve
We are also on 12.3.2 with IE 11 and have not encountered any issues. We do not, however, use growth charts.
To clarify:
I am not aware that there are supposed to be issues with IE 11 on 12.3.2--to my knowledge that is the recommended IE version to use. The issue is staying on IE 10 with 12.3.2 or the issue is with upgrading to IE 11 early while still on 12.0.12. We're wondering if anyone used IE 11 on 12.0.12 OR IE 10 on 12.3.2 and had issues with growth charts/dosing calculators? We have been told that there could be issues. From an upgrade perspective it would take some of the load off upgrade weekend if we did IE 11 early but don't want to do that at the expense of end user functionality or safety.
We were curious if there was any experience with either IE 11 on 12.0.12 or IE 10 on 12.3.2.
IE 11 on 12.0.2 is not supported and yes - it will cause problems with the charts.

I hear complaints over the years that the dosing calculator overall is not very intuitive. Do your providers use it routinely?
Our providers who see children do use it and I've not had complaints.
