Here in the state of NC, we are required to bill an NDC for any Medicare/Medicaid claim. On our 9.8 test system, on the back end, I am able to change the NDC number under Immunization custom list. The problem is that there is no field on the immunization form when the vaccination is given that pulls it in from the back end and this is a requirement. We also have multiple manufacturers per vaccination and notice it only gives us the option to choose one.
Seems as though we just made life harder for our clinical staff who only have the option to enter the NDC in the comment box. We are trying to utilize the HTML form for our go-live on Nov 21. Is anyone else facing these issues? If so, what is your solution? Thanks in advance.
