We are in the process of implementing SSO at our organization. I am looking for other customers that has Remote Desktop Services/Imprivata SSO.
We have users that change locations and are looking for a way to allow them to change locations of care and still use SSO. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Also, I'm interested in finding out how your facility has SSO set up and how the workflow functions. In our current configuration, our users are required to exit completely out of CPS before "tapping" out. Otherwise, multiple instances of CPS appear and the mapping of printers have to be considered.
Thank you for any information.
Our set up isn't one-to-one with what you describe, but we have implemented Imprivata SSO with Centricity EMR. We deploy CEMR to end users through Citrix.
Our users also have to "EXIT" CEMR rather than badging out to prevent multiple sessions getting hung up. We map printers in Citrix based on local machine instead of user, so that hasn't been much of an issue. The changing location piece was solved by disabling "auto-sign" in the Imprivata console. Our users have to badge in, EXIT and then sign-in while changing their LOC. CEMR maintains the last LOC logged into, so this only has to happen at the first login at different location.
