When our billers "post charges", click approve visit, click yes to "this visit must be saved before you continue. Save this visit now?" Sometimes the process is almost instant, sometimes it takes a very long time.
I am told it can really affect work flow. Is this lag something on our system or somewhere else? I am also told it seems to get worse towards the end of the month. Other functions in the CPS seem to be fine.
Anyone have any ideas?

Also, we notice the same thing with checking eligibility sometimes. Sometimes it takes 5 seconds sometimes 5 minutes. We are using the GE clearing house. Im pretty sure its on that end (aka nothing we can do about it)
A tech did admit to me at one point that there can be slowdowns during high traffic periods. Wouldn't that suggest the need to upgrade/ramp things up?
