I was wondering if anyone can tell me an average number of documents a dedicated employee can typically index in a day?
I have heard anywhere from 300 - 500 documents a day as a good average but i wanted to see where everyone else is at on this!
Any help on averages is greatly appreciated!!
That will depend on the specialty of the doctor or doctors they are scanning for.
Ie: we have 4 Scanning/Indexing staff. and 52 physician.
normally, the one who have only Internal Medicine doctor, tend to have lower number of scan/Index because the type of document that an internal medicine physician receive is very big.
this guys scans and index and average of 250 to 370+ document per day.
the Specialty doctor only have a certain type of document which is mostly repetitive
this guys scan and index an average of 500 to 750+ per day.
Are you asking how many documents indexed using the InDxLogic's Auto Indexing software solution? Or do you mean by manually indexing documents?
We have 2 staff dedicated to indexing/scanning documents into GE. We are a 26 Family Practice clinic. These 2 staff members average around 200-300 documents a day.
