Hello, We are using Kryptiq SMPP 6.4 and C-EMR 9.8 SP 7. We have been having issues with the Messaging tab where when we click it to open message center, we get a "Parameter is Incorrect" error message. Message Center will not open after that.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Did you resolve the issue? What was the fix?
Hi,
We had the same issue after the upgrade. We had to roll staff back to IE10 in order to stop the error from occurring. Hope that helps! Misty
We are currently on CPS and did have this issue after upgrade and even after changing the IE, it was still an issues for a small group of users. There is a simple fix that we were able to use on those few users. Simply going to Options/Preferences/System/Internet Sites, opening Internet sites(make no changes) and then having the user log out and then back in cleared up the issue.
Hi,
Did you do this within the EMR? Thanks
Hello, we are on the same platform as you. We had the same issue when we upgraded from 9.5 to 9.8. You will have to call GE to resolve the issue. I can't remember what they did.
Kimberly West.
We also had the same issue, although we are on CPS not C-EMR. (see attached for a screenshot of our error).
After much investigation, both with GE and with Kryptiq, we narrowed the issue down to IE and cookies. We discovered that by changing the following preferences in IE that we have been able to avoid this issue (or correct it when it rears its ugly head):
IE version 11 Settings:
- Internet Options > General tab > Browsing History:
- "Delete browsing history on exit": checked
- Internet Options > Advanced tab > Reset Internet Explorer Settings:
- click "Reset"
- "Delete personal settings": checked
Exit Centricity (if it's open). You may want to restart PC although this is usually not necessary. Messaging tab should work without error.

Hope this helps!

kwest, Do you have a support ticket (case number) that I could follow up with them on?
Same problem here. CPS 11 and IE11. Spent a lot of time with GE and found that all we have to do to fix it is delete cookies in IE. The problem comes back after awhile and we just delete cookies again.
With the end of Microsoft's support for IE10, we updated our users to IE11 and are now encountering this issue.
Has anyone come across a permanent fix in the past year? We're using the workarounds mentioned in this thread for now.
