We are on CPS 12.0.7 and trying to print a A02 Chart Label. We launch Centricity via Citrix and have not been able to get this label to print correctly. Quatris has been helping modify the report to work and print correctly for the last 3 months with no luck. Has anyone else printed labels out of PM with a ZEBRA printer?
I used to worked with Zebra printer for non-health related organization (non-profit shipping company) about 4 years ago. Zebra has an editor program for label creation. I think, I modified output file and integrated with excel to print barcodes.
I used to work for DYMO. There are many Centricity practices that use the DYMO 450 for label printing for lab label printing and chart label printing exactly what your trying to do. Zebra is a great printed but complicated to manipulate. You can purchase the DYMO 450 for about $75.00 If you search DYMO on the BLOG and you can see what other practices have accomplished with out a whole lot of effort.
Good Luck
We are trying to print patient chart labels. We have 6 Clinics all already have zebra printers. Hoping we didn't have to purchase another printer for Centricity use.
Can you tell me what the Editor Program is called?
Are you trying to print one label per time or set of labels?
Zebra's built-in label editor is using ODBC driver. For one of my client, I have a large Excel spreadsheet with code to print and attached the spreadsheet to Zebra using ODBC.
See if you can connect directly to Centricity Database with ODBC driver. You may also create a database View to print exactly that you need.
I am trying to print individual patient demographic labels for specimens and forms. Quatris has created a label for us to use, but we can not format it to print on the Zebra Printer.
