Can anyone tell me what the ramifications are if a provider chooses not to use the Med Administration form? MU or other system related issues?

Our GE Consultant told us that using the Med Administration form is not required for MU. We were told that it is an added feature to help meet CPOE if we choose to use it. I don't know about any other system related issues. We have not done our upgrade yet, but we don't plan to use this form right away since there will be so many other issues to work through.

Yes, I appreciate this too as we were told it was required. We decided on our own we did not need it at this time.
