An increasing number of our referring physicians have a central fax number for records requests and an office fax number for correspondence. Centricity only allows 2 phone numbers per referring physician. We want to be able to have the office phone, office fax and central medical records fax numbers associated with one referring physician record. Does anyone else have this scenario and/or ideas on how to deal with this? We use CPS 12.2 for PM and another vendor's EMR.

Sheesh, When are we ever going to get rid of faxes? We spend too much money on keeping that old school stuff around. Maybe someday {unlikely}
The only thought I would have would be to utilize the Notes field or you could get creative with the email field, like xxx-xxx-xxxxfax as the less important fax number
