In Registration there is new field under the email address that has a check in the box that states: Patient Data Access Authorized... What exactly is that for ... what will happen if the box is unchecked.

It is for MIPS-- specifically ACI (not ACI transition)
I believe GE said they would be getting us more documentation surrounding this soon but to my understanding, it is clicked automatically if an email address is in there. If you unclick it then you will get dinged on the measure- I am absolutely sure there is more to it that this but our upgrade isn't for a few weeks so I haven't gotten to test it yet in CQR.
