Hi all,
I am getting the warning "Observation term not found in database" in VFE. I know this OBs term exist in our database but can't figure out how to fix the issue.
Thanks, Jude
Hi,
Is your VFE pointed at the correct database?? I know we would run into issues when VFE was pointed at the training database. Misty
I have found this happen on occasion (when I manually type it in), and it has been solved by clicking the [SELECT] button to search and find the obs. And voila, it is found, and the command works.
I guess that would work if you were using it in a place that allows for the [SELECT] and not part of a MEL command of function.
Thank you Misty. Would you have some more info about this. I have the wrong database. I changed it to the correct one but it is telling me that connection failed. Any thoughts on this? Thanks
Hi,
That would be above me. Do you have EMR and VFE on the same computer? I am CEMR so my settings maybe different. Misty
Thank you Misty. I am updating Centricity on that server. Thanks again
I've seen this before even when I have selected it from the Search tool. If I know that I have the correct Obs Term, and it is in the database, and it is spelled correctly. Then I just ignore the warning message and finish my object and the save the form and import it into Centricity. I think there is some sort of bug in Centricity's validation of Obs Terms, especially if you are using one that you requested as custom from GE.
Thank you for all your help. I wasn't connected to the correct database.
If you are having difficulty connecting still, please contact vfesupport at logical-innovations dot com for assistance. Chris Thompson will be happy assist you in getting VFE back up and running.
