When a user leaves our practice and before they are made obsolete in the system, all flags and documents are routed to a designated person. In some cases, if there is not a designated person, a nurse desktop is created and worked. Flags and documents are eventually transferred and the nurse desktop is made obsolete.
We have a situation where new and recent flags are showing back on the obsolete users desktop and it is causing a great concern when the intended nurse does not get the flag.
Has anyone run across this before? Interested in knowing other workflows.

Haven't seen that, but wondering if items are coming back because someone is doing a reply? One other thought, is that several people (myself included) who do not always logon daily have 'out of office' message setup to remind people that I do not check items daily.
Perhaps utilizing the 'out of office' may help with your issue. In this case, set the message to be that the person is no longer with the practice, and the message should be directed elsewhere.
